There are many different ways for you to find your place among our community and build lasting relationships and friendships that will encourage and inspire you. If you are looking for an inclusive place to belong to, and participate in, we invite and encourage you to learn more about us.
We would like to invite and encourage you to explore the worship service offerings, educational settings and rewarding parish participation opportunities listed below to discover Trinity Episcopal and how you can grow with us and we can grow with you.
Children
Ages Pre-School – 5th Grade
We offer Sunday School for children during the first part of the 10:30am worship service. Students rejoin the 10:30am service at the Peace, prior to Communion so they may participate in the Holy Eucharist with their family.
Our education is based on the Godly-Play curriculum. This curriculum helps the children learn about the Bible in a creative, fun way.
Youth
Ages Middle School & High School
We offer a program for our middle-school and high school aged youth to help them learn to serve as acolytes, to take part in liturgical services, and to be prepared for Confirmation. We also offer youth outings which make for fun experiences and the chance to make new friends.
The Episcopal Diocese of Kansas is nationally recognized for excellence in supporting the youth in our diocese through exciting education and camp offerings throughout the year.
College Students
The Episcopal Diocese of Kansas has an active presence at all six of the Kansas Board of Regents public universities which provide our parishioner students with a “home away from home” where they are welcomed and the unique spiritual needs of our children during this phase of their life are nourished and cared for.
Armed Forces & Peace Corps
Trinity Episcopal Church recognizes and sincerely appreciates all who sacrifice while serving our Nation in the Armed Forces and the Peace Corps. We pray to God for their safe return home.
Sunday sermons are available for viewing for all serving out of state or overseas on our Facebook page.
Bible Study
Bible Study typically meets after the Wednesday morning service at 10:30am.
A variety of interesting study topics include books, the Bible and Book of Common Prayer and current issues in the Episcopal Church.
Altar Guild
Throughout the church year, the Altar Guild is responsible for the care and preparation of the altars, linens, priests’ and servers’ vestments, brass, silver, candles and flowers.
Being a part of Altar Guild is an important commitment, one that provides the opportunity to be an integral part of the worship at Trinity Episcopal Church.
If interested in becoming part of the Altar Guild or general volunteer opportunities, please contact the parish office 913-367-3171 or email us here.
